Hi, I’m Shay Harris—a proud father, to my son Zane, husband to my wife, and a sound designer with a deep love for sci-fi and combat soundscapes. Born and raised in Arkansas, I spent over 15 years in the military, serving overseas and rising to the rank of Staff Sergeant. That experience shaped my leadership, teamwork, and discipline—qualities I bring into every creative project.

After transitioning from service, I earned a Bachelor’s in Audio Production from Full Sail University. During that time, I briefly managed and booked artists for an independent Christian Hip Hop label. I later completed a Master’s in Entertainment Business, expanding my expertise in branding, marketing, and strategy.

Sound design isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am. From recording natural elements to sculpting cinematic sound for games or media, I’m driven by curiosity and craft. My work is backed by a diverse toolkit that includes project management, digital marketing, business planning, and content distribution.

 

As I continue to grow, I aim to merge sound, storytelling, and innovation to create immersive audio experiences that resonate.
